LEGO Bus Stop in Regent Street

To celebrate Transport for London’s ‘Year of the Bus’, we have installed a replica Bus Stop and Shelter in Regent Street, London W1 made entirely out of LEGO. The LEGO Bus Stop is made with over 100,000 LEGO bricks and was revealed for TFL’s ‘Regent Street Bus Cavalcade’ event.  The famous street was closed for a Sunday to host a cavalcade of 50 London buses from the earliest horse-drawn model of the 1820’s right up to new the Routemasters of today.  The LEGO Bus Stop was a big focus at the event attended by over 400,000 people.

As well as offering consumer engagement, there has been plenty of editorial coverage on this installation with social media commentary, print, online and broadcast coverage.  The story also made ‘And finally….’ On BBC London News. It was also hailed as ‘PR stunt of the week’.
